Connections Reflection

Art as Community/Communication

use art as a way to advocate, communicate social messages.

Creativity something to work on in our schools

The importance of presenting your research/teaching/message in a package that is palletable.

Parallax--Shift of an object against a background due to a change in observer position.
Gender, culture, maturity...ect... influences what we learn. Our assessments should reflect how each student picks up different things, not all the same regurgitated information.

Take your strength and run with it. --Thinking about working creatively as non-artists. moving past the fear to work as a creative teacher.

How can I live and breath my life as an educator?
How do I live in relation to others in the teaching world?
How do I view myself as a creative being?
How do I assess artful practices and artful teaching?
How do I integrate? What do I integrate?
Find ways to inspire yourself!

Arts Based Research
Collecting data, analyzing the data, then presenting the data in an artful way.
Just-in-time pedagogy. Not-just-in-case pedagogy.
